Welcome to Moss Creek's Romp page!
Here I can keep everyone updated on the planned romps. If
you're organizing a romp, send me an email, I will add it to
this page.
Our
Big Romp is the "Spring Fling."
This year (2010) it's March 12-14th in Orlando
Florida. Last year we had over 125 people and 85+
McDoodles Goldendoodles. This year we're expecting more.
We have events planned for all 3 days! We are asking for a
$20.00 per adult donation this year to help with the expenses.
The
romp events start Friday, March 12th -
5-8pm - at the Sheraton Orlando North. We are
meeting at the pool for "Yappy Hour!" Appetizers will be
served and there will be a cash bar. We hope to see everyone and their
doodles at 5!
We're
romping on Saturday, March 13th -
10-2pm or ? - If you're staying at the hotel, plan to
leave by 9:30am. Lunch will be catered (BBQ) and served
from 12-1:30pm. Drinks will be provided. Please
bring chairs, towels, blanket if your doodle wants to lay down
and take a rest, water container for your Doodle and anything
else you want special for your kids/family. Poop
bags will be provided.
Sunday, March 14th - 10-12 noon
we will provide a departure buffet brunch at the Sheraton
Orlando North Pool area. Everyone and your Doodles are invited
to join us.
Action Snapshot Photography
in Orlando will be taking pictures for us this year!
They will take a family shot as you enter the romp.
Everyone will go home with a 5X7 picture to remember the
day. They will also be taking candid pictures during
the events.

A few things you
should know to make this Romp a success.
No
retractable leads/leashes. They're fine one on one but in
a crowd of doodles, they can be dangerous.
We
have a place for the food that is separate from the romping
area. Please leash your dogs when not in the romping area
due to food and cars coming in and out.
We
ask that all unaltered (not spayed/neutered) dogs be left at
home. It changes the whole
dynamics of the romp when they attend. We have pictures of the humping
trains to prove it! :)
This
is a Moss Creek Goldendoodle romp for our puppies, their owners
and friends. Some dogs are adopted McDoodles and we
welcome all of them, too. There will be no advertising by
other breeders. A few years ago we had an Orlando breeder
show up at our romp with posters of her dogs for sale.
This or any romp is not the place for that.
For our
Florida families that don't want to stay at the hotel, we hope
you still join us on Friday for Yappy Hour, Saturday for the Romp
and Sunday for Breakfast! Bring your kids and doodles too!
It's sure to be a lot of fun for the whole family!
